Queen Elizabeth 2

The Queen Elizabeth 2 was built in 1965-1968 at the John Brown Yard (Upper Clyde Shipbuilders), Clydebank, for Cunard. Her length and beam are, respectively, 963' and 105', at approximately 66,000 GRT.

Originally powered by steam turbines, the QE2 was converted to diesel-electric drives. She is now a hotel ship in Dubai, UAE.
